A bittersweet 2D narrative game about navigating grief. The player is able to transform between a fallen mountain god and cat as they make their way through multiple puzzles. This was the first time I worked with SFX implementation, leading to long yet successful hours of troubleshooting audio code and FMOD middleware within Unity. I went for a foley-heavy approach; all cat sounds are from my own cats, walking sounds were produced by tapping a juice bottle against wood, and the majority of bird sounds were captured outside my dorm window. NPC dialogue is actually my own voice chopped up in Reaper and drenched in FL studio reverb.
-
Was the only sound designer/composer in a large team.
-
Composed the main theme.
-
Created all SFX using foley or electronically produced in a DAW. Used Reaper, FL studio.
-
Implemented all SFX with FMOD middleware.
Unite Farm Organisms
Composer
Oh no, there is an alien invasion and your farm animals are at risk of being abducted at any moment. The player must drop and combine farm animals to create even bigger farm animals. I had around a week to create two tracks (many hours were spent in my university's music practice building). I added animal noises, farm instruments, and upbeat synths, combining styles to reflect the spacey narrative and farm setting.
-
Composed menu and main gameplay music.
-
Used Logic Pro for all music.
-
Presented the game at MSU's Diversity in Game's Spring game jam.
-
Won best execution of game jam theme (there and back again).

Deadline at '59
Composer
A college student races against the clock, battling homework and the depths of her own mind in what results in a strange chase. Emotions are all over the place. I intended to create a track of tension, panic, and anxiety with melancholy pads, intense chords, and accelerating beats.
-
Composed the short film's background track, working with a team of editors, actors, and screenswriters.
-
Composed around 5 minutes of music, was cut up to fit the film's needs.
